Canam Interiors completed the fit-out of the old Synagogue that Auckland University had leased from the National Bank.

Canam Interiors were contracted to construct new offices within the existing structure, an interesting fusion of the old with the new. We used silver anodised glazed aluminium partitions with full height glazed aluminium doors. A new tiled reception/information counter was installed in the main chamber. Other work consisted of upgrading existing services, flooring, painting etc.

This project was very much hands on as we had to install new partitions and incorporate new services within the existing heritage structure with minimal/no disruption and damage to the existing structure. This meant in many areas no fixings to external walls was allowed.

Canam completed this project on time and to a very high standard. The Vice Chancellor opened the new premises and was extremely happy with the end result.
