Canam has a long history working with both this client and the project architect.

This project involved two phases. Phase 1 was to construct a new two storey thirteen classroom Science and Technology block. Phase II was to extend an existing wing (which Canam built two years earlier) to house the relocated main administration offices.

The Administration block was a single storey building with a masonry plinth and timber and steel framed construction above. The Science and Technology block was a two-storey building built with a block work and structural steel structure, rib and timber infill floors with shell beams and steel roof structure. The Science and Technology block consists of a variety of classroom usages including fully serviced biology and chemistry laboratories, music room, food technology room, computer science and other standardized classroom spaces.

The administration block consists of staff offices, new reception areas, staff facilities, sick bay and computer hub room. The construction process was carried out whilst the school was fully operational and causing only minimal disruption. Canam delivered a quality project on time, within budget and with minimum disruption to the school.
