An existing facility was stripped out to make way for a new laboratory for Crop and Food. The project incorporated a lot of specialised joinery and mechanical services.
The laboratory was set up to PC2 laboratory standards, this means that certain qualifications had to be met and signed off prior to handover. One of these qualifications was that the laboratory was to have permanent negative pressure. This was achieved, first time round.
This project was completed in a very tight time frame and the finishes and quality of work was all in keeping with a laboratory environment. The client is extremely happy with the refurbishment, so much so that we have secured more work at Crop and Food Research.
