This project involved the construction of a new showroom, offices and a state of the art workshop for Continental Cars.

The building was designed and detailed in New Zealand under supervision of Audi’s German architects to an extremely high standard to reflect the requirements of the prestige Audi brand.

The “Audi Hanger” form of the building reflects Audi’s worldwide showroom concept which has been adapted to suit this particular site.

The facilities include a state of the art workshop with individual exhaust systems for each car under service, offices, a café, parking/storage and a large showroom with reception and sales. The structure consists of perimeter precast panels with structural steel space trusses supporting the roof. Space trusses are providing the envelope for the showroom. Extensive areas of structural glass and composite aluminium panels frame the perimeter of the building.

The project was completed on time, within budget and to the highest level of workmanship.
